Online Transfers through Online Banking

Login to online banking or the Signal mobile app. Under Transfer and Pay, select any of the three following options to make a transfer and complete a loan payment:

  • Internal transfer
  • Card transfer
  • Bill payer service

Online Payment Portal

Use a debit card from any financial institution to make a one-time loan payment without logging in to Online Banking.

Visit a Branch

Make a payment at any of our branch locations.

Automatic Payments

To schedule your consumer loan or mortgage payments with Automatic Payments, please contact us at loanservicing@signalfinancialfcu.org. This way, you’ll never miss a payment again.

Check by Mail

Send a check by mail to our headquarters branch in Kensington, MD. Checks should be made payable to:

The following additional information needs to be provided on mailed paper checks:

  • Correct Payee’s name and mailing address
  • Short memo addressing the external bill payer check payment request
  • Signal Financial Federal Credit Union loan number within the check’s memo line
  • If no memo line or no loan number is present on the check or with accompanying documentation, or if our credit union staff is unable to identify the intended destination for the mailed check payment by any other means, checks will be applied into the active checking or savings account available under the remitters’ name
  • Signal Financial reserves the right to charge late fees for late payments received after the loan grace period in accordance with our Loan Agreements in place
