Notify us of your travel plans before you leave…

so we can make sure you’ll have access to your money without a hitch!

Members, please notify us about your travel plans, during the holidays or any time of year. Our fraud prevention policy calls for debit cards to be blocked when unusual activity occurs, including being used in a location more than 50 miles from the member’s home address.

This policy prevents many losses due to fraud, but our system may block your card unknowingly if we don’t know you’re traveling! Please notify us when you will be using your debit or credit card outside the Metro area so we can make sure you will continue to have full access to your accounts while out of town.

To notify us, send an email to memberservice@signalfinancialfcu.org, send us a secure message from within eBanking, or call 301-933-9100, ext. 298. Please specify your departure and return dates and where you will be traveling.

If your card gets blocked, please call the number above during regular business hours. If your card becomes blocked during a weekend, we will not be able to help until the next business day, so letting us know before you travel is very important!
