Signal is gearing up for a season of giving beginning on #GivingTuesday, November 27

 

The holidays are right around the corner, and what better way to start off the season other than by giving? Well, Signal Financial plans to give back in more ways than one.

No service charge on gift cards on #givingtuesday

Need gift cards for the holidays? Members can purchase up to two (2) gift cards for any amount and we will waive the service charge. Offer is only available on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at any of our branches.

Signal has partnered with the Capital Area Food Bank this season. Located in Washington, D.C., the Capital Area Food Bank is the largest non-profit organization in the area working to solve hunger and its companion problems. Join us by donating non-perishable food items to any branch location through Friday, December 14 and Signal will donate $1 for every 1lb of food collected.  All food donations benefit the Capital Area Food Bank. Be part of the giving season with us!

*Promotional period starts and ends on November 27, 2018. During the promotional period, the Signal Financial FCU VISA® gift card service fee of $4 is waived on Signal Financial FCU VISA® gift cards of any dollar amount purchased at a Signal Financial FCU branch. Limit 2 gift cards per member during the promotional period; additional gift cards will incur the standard service fee of $4 per card. Must be a member of Signal Financial FCU; non-members will be charged the $4 service fee.

**The #GivingTuesday Food Drive starts November 27, 2018 and ends December 14, 2018. Participation is voluntary. Items that will NOT be accepted are: perishable items or those needing refrigeration, fresh produce, items in glass containers, alcoholic beverages or anything containing intoxicants, home-made food, food not in its original store packaging, and non-food items. All food donations will be delivered to the Capital Area Food Bank on December 17, 2018. For each pound of food donated, Signal Financial FCU will donate $1.00 to the Capital Area Food Bank, at a minimum of $1.00 and a maximum of $1,000.00. The monetary donation will be made by December 31, 2018.
